We will inform you if our fruit is certified organic. For instance, most of our Washington Apples are organic and labeled accordingly. None of our growers use APEEL! We carefully select our growers, and their methods vary. All our fruits are non-GMO and grown on family-run farms. Some fruits meet organic standards but are not certified due to the high cost. Cherries, apricots, apples, plums, pluots, and pears are grown without pesticides but are not certified organic. Peaches may have pesticides used sparingly to save trees. Strawberries use beneficial insects to combat pests but may be treated if necessary.
Ordering in large quantities helps keep costs low. We purchase fruit by the flat directly from farms and deliver it to you without breaking it into smaller packages. Offering smaller packages would require additional licensing, certified facilities, and more packaging materials, leading to higher prices and delays in delivering the freshest fruit.
Check our Truck Delivery Schedule for scheduled delivery dates and times. Then, watch our website for updates on that schedule. Because of the nature of fresh fruit, and Mother Nature, we cannot set up exact times until we confirm dates with the orchards. Demand, logistics, and fruit availability sometimes cause schedule adjustments as well.
The Fruit Truck strives to provide you with the freshest farm product. Since we are dealing with perishable products and mother nature credit is not guaranteed. If you are unsatisfied with your fruit, please submit a claim. Claims are only accepted through email and within 7 days of purchase. To submit a claim email care@MyFruitTruck.com, with your name, pick-up date/time, location and a brief description of the issue and amount effected with pictures of the fruit and box. Incomplete claims will not be processed. We do not offer cash/venmo refunds. Per our discretion you may receive product replacement or The Fruit Truck credit.
